Mobile Sawmilling

We travel to your location and provide sawmill services there.  This is particularly useful if the logs are too numerous or too big to bring to our yard.  When mobile we have a 5-hour minimum charge and also a travel/setup fee based upon distance to cover the travel time and expense as well as the time necessary to prepare the mill for transport.

Customers bring their logs to our yard to be cut.  When logs are brought to our yard the cost is based simply on the amount of time necessary to cut the logs or wood and there is no minimum charge.

We produce and sell our own lumber.  We sell freshly-cut (green) wood, air-dried wood, and kiln-dried wood of various species in numerous sizes, widths, and thicknesses.  We have both live-edge and dimensional wood.  We currently have boards of the following species in stock:

**update 12/2024- a load of 4/4 elm and 8/4 maple has just finished a kiln cycle and is ready for sale.  Kiln-dried Elm is $4.00 per board foot and Kin-dried 8/4 maple is $5.00 per board foot

 

Prices per board foot depend on species.  A board foot (BF) is a unit of volume that measures 12"x12"x1".
